We Then Shall Live . . .

As we lift our hearts in song and praise to our Father God, we are carried from everything natural that limits us, into the spiritual realm where He reigns and where we are free – without limits.  Our spirit soars and we are free to feel His pleasure as He sings back to us. Our heart becomes pure as we mesh with Him – He turns and we see His face.  Oh what joy fills our heart and soul, as we bless Him from within.  We cannot define where He begins and where we leave off or where we begin and He leaves off.  Spiritually, we become one with Him.  It’s with a pure heart and spirit that we praise Him.  He embraces us as we sing His story back to Him…

 Here I am to worship – Here I am to bow down – Here I am to say that ‘You’re my God’

You’re altogether lovely – You’re altogether worthy – Altogether wonderful to me.

The Creator of the universe could live anywhere He chooses and He chooses to live within our spirit when we open the door and invite Him to be our very own Lord and Savior.  Our crimson stain is then washed as white as snow – our tears are wiped away – our guilt is gone – our name is cleared and “no condemnation” is written across our forehead.  We stand clean before Him – our debts are paid – oh, what joy we feel.  The spots and blemishes no longer exist – we have been forgiven – we have been redeemed by His Grace – we then shall live:

I Then Shall Live

Bill Gaither

I then shall live as one who’s been forgiven.

I’ll walk with joy to know my debts are paid.

I know my name is clear before my Father;

I am His child and I am not afraid.

So, greatly pardoned, I’ll forgive my brother;

The law of love I gladly will obey.

I then shall live as one who’s learned compassion.

I’ve been so loved, that I’ll risk loving too.

I know how fear builds walls instead of bridges;

I’ll dare to see another’s point of view.

And when relationships demand commitment,

Then I’ll be there to care and follow through.

 Your Kingdom come around and through and in me;

Your power and glory, let them shine through me.

Your Hallowed Name, O may I bear with honor,

And may Your living Kingdom come in me.

The Bread of Life, O may I share with honor,

And may You feed a hungry world through me.

Amen, Amen, and Amen.

 Tell the story of Jesus and His love; it will be your theme in Glory.
